Exchange students
The Socrates-Erasmus programme in Bologna is a non-degree programme which allows exchange students from universities around Europe to study in Bologna for one or two semesters
"Exchange students" are students who come to Bologna within the framework of a reciprocal exchange programme.
In such a programme Bologna students can study as exchange students at the partner university and the University of Bologna receives students from the partner university. Students stay registered at the home university during the exchange. Almost invariably Bologna University and the partner university have agreed not to charge any tuition fees for each others exchange candidates. Exemption of tuition fees can only be given for Exchange/non-degree study
